WireGuard vs OpenVPN: The Plain-English Difference

If you have shopped for a VPN lately, you have probably seen two names over and over: WireGuard and OpenVPN. They sound like background plumbing because they are. They are VPN protocols, which just means they are the rules your device and the VPN server use to build an encrypted tunnel.
